Kyoka Jiro

Kyoka Jiro, identified as number 1143 in the Pop! Animation line, was released as part of a recurring series of figures dedicated to the characters from the hit anime and manga franchise My Hero Academia. This figure captures the character in her hero costume, reflecting her quirk, Earphone Jack, which allows her to amplify sound and create vibrations using the jacks that hang from her earlobes. Funko developed this design to mirror the aesthetic established by series creator Kohei Horikoshi, focusing on the distinct, punk-inspired look of Jiro that stands out among the other students of Class 1-A.

The figure was produced during a period of sustained popularity for the My Hero Academia license, which has become a cornerstone of Funko's anime-themed offerings. Collectors generally received the piece well for its accuracy to the source material, particularly in how it handles the difficult task of sculpting her unique audio-based costume components. As with the wider collection, the figure serves as a collectible bridge between the character's nuanced development in the series and the standardized, stylized visual language that defines the Pop! brand.
