Lady Sif

Lady Sif was released in 2013 as part of the fourth wave of the Marvel Universe Funko Pop series, which aimed to broaden the Funko aesthetic beyond the primary Avengers characters by including secondary heroes from the Thor mythology. The figure reflects the design trends of early Funko releases, characterized by a simplified, stylized interpretation of the character's appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically drawing from her armor and appearance in the early Thor films.

The figure was illustrated and sculpted within the standardized Funko vinyl format, which prioritizes a minimalist, uniform look across diverse intellectual properties. At the time of its release, the figure served to bolster the growing collection of Marvel characters available to fans of the then-expanding film franchise. It was received by the collecting community as a standard entry in the Marvel line, noted primarily for its inclusion of a character who was otherwise less represented in mass-market toy lines during that period.
