Lex Luthor (Smallville)

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Television line in 2018, this figure commemorates the character of Lex Luthor as portrayed by Michael Rosenbaum in the long-running television series Smallville. The series explored the formative years of Clark Kent and the evolution of his friendship with Luthor, offering a more nuanced take on the classic villain's origin story. This figure captures the character's signature look from the show, specifically his shaved head and formal attire, which became iconic elements of Rosenbaum’s seven-season run.

The design follows the standard aesthetic established for the Pop! line, featuring the characteristic oversized head and simplified, stylized features. It was produced alongside other figures from the show, such as Clark Kent and Green Arrow, to serve the nostalgia of the series' dedicated fanbase. Upon its release, it was generally well-received by collectors who had long requested Smallville representation in the Funko ecosystem, as it provided a tangible connection to a show that significantly impacted the portrayal of modern comic book television adaptations.
