Where it came from
Lolbit debuted as a recurring antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, specifically appearing in the 2016 installment Sister Location. Designed by series creator Scott Cawthon, the character is an orange and purple color-swapped variation of Funtime Foxy, originally serving as a digital entity that disrupts the player's vision. The design reflects the series' aesthetic of retro-futuristic, animatronic horror, intended to provide a sense of visual glitching and technological instability within the game's lore.
The Funko Pop! figure, numbered 229, was produced as part of the wider Five Nights at Freddy's wave. Released during a period of high demand for merchandise based on the franchise, the figure captures the character's signature vibrant color palette and pixelated aesthetic. It was marketed primarily toward the dedicated gaming community and collectors of Funko's stylized vinyl figures, gaining recognition for its exclusivity and status as a sought-after character model within the broader toy line.
