Where it came from
The Loot Llama, officially known as the Supply Llama, was introduced as a core loot mechanic within the battle royale game Fortnite, developed by Epic Games. Due to the character's immediate status as an iconic mascot for the franchise, Funko released it as part of their Pop! Games line in 2018. This specific variation, featuring a glow-in-the-dark finish, was created as a Summer Convention exclusive to commemorate the game's cultural peak.
The design faithfully translates the stylized, angular aesthetic of the in-game model into the standard Funko Pop! form factor. The glow-in-the-dark application was intended to mimic the magical, luminous essence of the supply crates found in the game. Upon its release, it was well-received by fans and collectors, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after figures within the broader Fortnite gaming collection due to its unique finish and limited convention-exclusive distribution.
