Where it came from
Lucky, the mascot of General Mills' Lucky Charms cereal, made his Funko Pop! debut as part of the Pop! Movies line, numbered 926. This figure was produced to celebrate the enduring legacy of the character, who was created in 1963 to market the cereal's signature oat pieces and colored marshmallows. The design reflects the character's long-standing aesthetic, featuring his iconic green top hat and vibrant outfit, rendered in the hallmark oversized-head Funko style.
The figure was released as part of a larger collaboration between Funko and General Mills, designed to appeal to both nostalgia-driven adults and contemporary collectors who favor pop culture icons. Designers aimed to translate the two-dimensional animation style of the mascot into a three-dimensional vinyl form, ensuring the recognizable, playful features of the leprechaun remained intact. Upon its release, it was well-received by mascot enthusiasts as a faithful representation of a staple of American breakfast culture.
