Where it came from
Luna Snow, also known as Seol Hee, was originally introduced by Marvel Games and Netmarble in 2018 as a K-pop idol turned superhero. The character was designed to bridge the gap between global pop culture and the Marvel Universe, possessing the unique ability to manipulate ice and snow. Her inclusion in the Funko Pop! Marvel line, specifically as number 1141, reflects her rapid integration into mainstream comic lore and the broader expansion of the Marvel gaming roster.
The design of this figurine captures Luna Snow in her signature performance-ready battle suit, emphasizing the contrast between her stage persona and her cryokinetic powers. As part of the wider Marvel Rivals-adjacent branding, the figure highlights Funko’s strategy of documenting the evolution of contemporary characters. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by fans of the Marvel Future Fight and Marvel Rivals gaming communities who sought physical representations of characters primarily defined by their digital presence.
