Madame Maxime

Madame Maxime was released as part of the Harry Potter Pop! vinyl series by Funko, which launched in 2015 to capitalize on the enduring popularity of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. The character, introduced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, is the towering Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Funko designed this figure to capture her signature elegant aesthetic, complete with her sophisticated headwear and formal attire, as part of a wider wave that expanded the collection beyond the primary student characters to include faculty and magical creatures.

The design follows the standard Funko Pop! aesthetic, utilizing the brand's signature oversized head and simplified, stylized features. Because Madame Maxime is depicted as a half-giant in the source material, her Pop! figure was crafted with a slightly larger stature than the standard student figures to reflect her imposing height relative to other characters in the line. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by collectors who prioritize completeness in their Harry Potter displays, serving as a distinct piece that represents the international scope of the Triwizard Tournament arc.
