Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Rocks series in 2013, this figure immortalizes Mick Mars, the lead guitarist and founding member of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. The figure captures his signature look from the band's prime, characterized by his dark, brooding aesthetic and iconic stage presence that helped define the glam metal sound of the 1980s.
The design follows the standard Funko Pop! aesthetic, translating Mars' recognizable features—such as his hat and long hair—into the brand's signature stylized, oversized-head format. As part of a wave commemorating the members of Mötley Crüe, the figure was intended to appeal to longtime fans of the band's legacy and collectors of music-themed memorabilia, serving as a nostalgic tribute to the quartet's significant impact on rock history.
