Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line, this figure depicts Mirko (Rumi Usagiyama) from the popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia. Created by Kohei Horikoshi, the character was introduced as the No. 5 Pro Hero, known for her powerful rabbit-themed quirk and indomitable fighting spirit. Funko designed this figure to capture her signature hero costume, pose, and ears, aiming to appeal to fans who appreciate her distinct visual style and role in the Paranormal Liberation War arc.
The figure reflects Funko's broader strategy of expanding their Animation line to include major supporting characters from long-running shonen franchises. The aesthetic adheres to the company's established 'chibi' design language, condensing complex character features into a simplified, uniform format. As with other entries in the My Hero Academia collection, it was manufactured to serve the demand for accessible, collectible memorabilia tied to current global anime trends.
