Negaduck [PX Previews]

Negaduck, the sinister doppelgänger of the titular hero in the animated series Darkwing Duck, was introduced as part of the Funko Pop! Television line as figure number 1503. Released as a PX Previews exclusive, the design captures the character's iconic ragged red suit, wide-brimmed hat, and menacing, glowing yellow eyes that distinguish him from his heroic counterpart. This iteration of the character highlights the 90s aesthetic of the Disney Afternoon block, a time when anti-heroes and darker character archetypes began to find a place in children's television programming.

The figure was conceptualized by Funko designers to satisfy long-term fans of the cult-classic cartoon, focusing on the character's signature chaotic energy and dark color palette. By utilizing the PX Previews distribution channel, which specializes in collectibles for comic shops and specialty retailers, the piece was marketed specifically to collectors who value show-accurate details and the nostalgia associated with the Darkwing Duck franchise. Reception among the collecting community has been largely positive, praised for its faithful representation of a character who remains a standout villain in the Disney animation canon.
