Night King (Crystal)

The Crystal Night King, designated as Pop! number 84, was released as a Funko specialty series variant within the Game of Thrones collection. It debuted during the height of the show's cultural influence, serving as a translucent, stylized representation of the series' primary antagonist. This variant was designed to capture the icy, ethereal nature of the White Walkers, utilizing molded clear plastic to differentiate it from the standard painted vinyl release.

Funko’s design team frequently utilized translucent materials for supernatural or ghostly characters to add variety to their expanding catalog. By stripping away the pigment, the designers aimed to evoke the frozen aesthetic of the character’s appearance in the series. The figure was well-received by completionist collectors who appreciated the departure from the typical opaque vinyl finish, marking it as a distinct, atmospheric piece within the broader Game of Thrones line.
