Where it came from
The Pink Ranger Funko Pop! figure, numbered 24 in the Television series, was released as part of the initial wave of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers collectibles. Produced by Funko, this line emerged during the company's significant expansion in the mid-2010s, capitalizing on the enduring nostalgia for the 1993 television series. The design utilizes Funko’s signature aesthetic, featuring a stylized oversized head and minimalist features that distill the character's iconic spandex suit and helmet into a compact vinyl form.
The design intent was to capture the essence of Kimberly Hart, the original Pink Ranger, by emphasizing the recognizable pterodactyl helmet motif and the classic uniform color scheme. Upon release, the figure was well-received by collectors and fans of 1990s pop culture, quickly becoming a staple for those curating Power Rangers memorabilia. It represents a specific era of toy manufacturing where Funko successfully bridged the gap between modern vinyl art and vintage television properties.
