Po

Po, the central character of the Kung Fu Panda franchise, was introduced in the 2008 DreamWorks Animation film of the same name. Created as a subversion of the 'chosen one' archetype, the character was designed by animator Nico Marlet, who blended traditional Chinese aesthetics with a comical, rounded silhouette to emphasize the panda's physical struggle with kung fu. The character's enduring popularity, rooted in his journey from clumsy noodle-shop worker to the Dragon Warrior, has made him a cornerstone of modern animation.

This Funko Pop figure, numbered 1567 within the Pop! Movies line, serves as a contemporary commemorative release for the franchise. Funko's design team utilizes their signature stylized proportions—oversized heads and simplified features—to translate the character into the collectible vinyl medium. These figures are produced to capture the nostalgic appeal of major film properties, and this specific iteration reflects the ongoing expansion of the Kung Fu Panda merchandising catalog as it celebrates the series' lasting cultural footprint.
