Professor X (Bobble-Head)

Professor X, numbered 57 in the Pop! Marvel line, was released as part of the fourth series of Marvel-themed figures by Funko. This piece captures Charles Xavier in his iconic yellow hover-chair, a design choice intended to reflect his classic appearance in X-Men comics and animated adaptations. The figure was produced during a period when Funko was rapidly expanding its Marvel license to include more nuanced characters beyond the core Avengers team.

The design of this bobble-head focuses on the distinctive silhouette of the character’s levitating transport and his signature bald aesthetic. As with much of the early Pop! Marvel series, the aesthetic sought to balance the brand’s signature stylized, large-headed look with recognizable comic book iconography. Upon release, it was well-received by collectors who appreciated the move away from standard standing figures to those depicting characters with their hallmark vehicles or equipment.
