Where it came from
Rick FunkO's, released under the Pop! Television line as figure number 1325, captures the iconic character Ricky from the long-running Canadian mockumentary series Trailer Park Boys. Designed to reflect the character's signature unkempt appearance and penchant for ill-fitting sportswear, the figure was produced by Funko to commemorate the show's enduring cult status. It serves as a stylized caricature of the character's erratic, impulsive personality as portrayed by actor Robb Wells.
The design draws heavily from the aesthetic established by the mockumentary's low-budget, cinéma vérité style, focusing on the character's ubiquitous tracksuits and expressive, often confused demeanor. Since the show's transition from a limited-run production to a global streaming phenomenon, these figures have been marketed toward adult collectors who appreciate the show's satirical take on life in a fictional Nova Scotian trailer park. The reception has been largely driven by the franchise's dedicated fanbase, which has consistently sought out physical merchandise to represent the show's unique comedic legacy.
