Rize

Rize Kamishiro was released as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line, numbered 466, representing the character from the dark fantasy anime and manga series Tokyo Ghoul. Created by Sui Ishida, the series centers on the conflict between humans and ghouls, with Rize serving as a pivotal figure whose introduction sets the protagonist Kaneki’s transformation in motion. The figure design highlights her signature purple hair and glasses, capturing her deceptive, bookish persona that masks her true identity as a powerful ghoul.

Funko’s design approach for the Tokyo Ghoul series generally emphasizes the character's core aesthetic traits, translated into the brand's signature stylized vinyl form. As a popular character from the series, Rize was produced to cater to the growing demand for merchandise reflecting the grit and supernatural elements of the franchise. It was generally well-received by collectors of the Animation series, particularly those interested in the darker, more mature themes present in Sui Ishida’s storytelling.
