Ron Swanson

The Ron Swanson Pop! figure, identified as number 1414 in the Pop! Television series, depicts the iconic character from the long-running NBC mockumentary Parks and Recreation. Created by Funko as part of their extensive licensing agreements with major television networks, this particular release serves to commemorate the enduring legacy of the show, which aired from 2009 to 2015. The figure captures Swanson’s trademark stoic expression, flannel attire, and mustache, reflecting his role as the deadpan director of the Parks Department.

The design of this piece adheres to the signature Funko aesthetic, featuring a stylized square head, large black eyes, and a minimalist silhouette. It was created to appeal to fans of the series who collect memorabilia associated with contemporary sitcom culture. While specific lead designers at Funko are rarely credited for individual figures, the piece follows the company's standard design language intended to evoke immediate character recognition through key visual markers, such as Swanson’s signature woodworking hobby accessories often included in the broader Parks and Recreation merchandise line.
