Ron Swanson (Cornrows) [Summer Convention]

Released as an exclusive for the 2018 Summer Convention, this figure depicts Ron Swanson, the stoic and libertarian director of the Parks and Recreation department in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. The design captures the character's memorable appearance from the Season 2 episode 'The Reporter,' where he briefly adopts a braided hairstyle while working at a cornrow salon, a detail that highlights the show's penchant for absurd character beats.

The figure follows the standardized Funko Pop aesthetic, featuring the brand's signature oversized head and minimalist styling. As a convention exclusive, it was designed for dedicated fans of the series, serving as a niche collectible that references a specific, humorous moment rather than the character's standard office attire. Like many Pop! Television figures, it reflects the character's personality through key visual cues, maintaining the show's cult status and enduring popularity in the collectible toy market.
