Where it came from
Sabbac, numbered 1237 in the Pop! Movies series, was released by Funko to coincide with the 2022 superhero film Black Adam, part of the DC Extended Universe. The figure depicts the formidable antagonist of the film, a demonic entity resurrected through a crown of Sabbac, capturing the character's jagged, skeletal aesthetic and fiery, otherworldly glow as seen in the movie production.
The figure was designed to translate the complex CGI model of the film's villain into the signature Funko aesthetic, featuring oversized proportions and simplified, stylized details. It belongs to a wave of collectibles tied to the film's release, intended to appeal to both fans of the DC character's deep comic book history and followers of the modern live-action interpretation.
