Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Movies line, this figure commemorates the 2007 cult horror anthology film Trick 'r Treat, directed by Michael Dougherty. The character Sam acts as the film's central antagonist and embodiment of Halloween tradition, appearing as a mysterious, burlap-masked child. The design reflects the character's signature look, complete with his iconic patchwork sack mask and the partially carved, bloody pumpkin he carries throughout the film.
Funko created this special edition piece to capture the eerie aesthetic of the horror classic for dedicated collectors. The stylized vinyl figure translates the movie's grim folk-horror visuals into the signature Funko aesthetic, featuring oversized proportions and simplified details. Upon release, the figure was met with enthusiasm from horror enthusiasts who appreciated how it distilled the film's dark, seasonal atmosphere into a desktop-sized collectible.
