Shaun

Shaun, numbered 1660 in the Pop! Movies line, is a vinyl figure modeled after the titular protagonist of Edgar Wright’s 2004 cult-classic horror-comedy, Shaun of the Dead. The character, portrayed by Simon Pegg, is depicted in his iconic white short-sleeved shirt stained with red, reflecting his transition from an aimless electronics store employee to a reluctant zombie apocalypse survivor. This figure captures the film’s distinctive blend of mundane British domesticity and graphic horror, maintaining the hallmark Funko aesthetic of an oversized head and simplified, stylized features.

The design of this Pop! aligns with the broader Funko strategy of celebrating pop culture milestones through recognizable character motifs. By featuring Shaun clutching his cricket bat—a central prop in his makeshift defense against the undead—the figure serves as a nod to the film’s specific visual language and humor. Released as part of the ongoing Movies series, the item appeals to collectors who value the film's significant influence on the zombie subgenre and its enduring place in early 2000s cult cinema history.
