Where it came from
Shinra Kusakabe with Fire, numbered 981 in the Pop! Animation series, was produced by Funko to commemorate the anime adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo's manga series, Fire Force. The figure captures the protagonist in his iconic Special Fire Force Company 8 uniform, utilizing Funko's signature stylized aesthetic to represent Shinra's signature ignition ability through translucent orange fire effects emanating from his feet.
The design draws directly from the show's visual language, focusing on the dynamic movement of Shinra's flight as he utilizes his pyrokinetic powers. As part of a broader collection celebrating the Fire Force franchise, this piece was intended for fans of the series and collectors of shonen-inspired vinyl figures, receiving a warm reception for its accuracy to the character's core combat design.
