Sleeping Beauty Castle and Mickey Mouse

Released as part of the 2020 celebration marking the 65th anniversary of Disneyland, this piece serves as a commemorative tribute to the park's iconic centerpiece. The design features a stylized representation of the Sleeping Beauty Castle paired with a small Mickey Mouse figure, a nod to the enduring synergy between Walt Disney's original theme park and his most recognizable mascot. It was produced by Funko to satisfy a growing market of collectors who prioritize nostalgia and landmark architecture in vinyl form.

The item follows the signature aesthetic established by the Pop! Disney line, utilizing the characteristic large-head, wide-eye design language popularized by the company's artists. By framing the castle as the backdrop for Mickey, the designers aimed to evoke the quintessential Disneyland experience for fans of the franchise. Upon release, it was well-received by the collecting community for its decorative appeal and its status as a milestone-specific commemorative item.
