Snoopy & Woodstock

Snoopy and Woodstock, rendered here as Pop! Animation figure number 49, represent the long-standing collaboration between Funko and the Peanuts franchise. This piece was released to commemorate Charles M. Schulz’s iconic comic strip characters, capturing their minimalist design in the distinctive Funko aesthetic. The figures were intended to appeal to both long-time fans of the strip and collectors of the rapidly growing Pop! vinyl line, leaning into the simple, emotive character silhouettes that have defined the Peanuts brand since its 1950 debut.

The design process for this piece focused on translating Schulz's clean, ink-based line art into a three-dimensional medium. By maintaining the stark white and black color palette for Snoopy and the bright yellow for Woodstock, the designers aimed for instant recognizability. Upon release, the figure was well-received by the collecting community, often highlighted for its faithfulness to the source material and its role in bridging the gap between classic animation history and modern collectible culture.
