Spider-Man - Homecoming (Upside Down)

The Spider-Man: Homecoming (Upside Down) Pop! vinyl, numbered 259 in the Marvel series, was released by Funko to coincide with the 2017 theatrical debut of the film. This figure captures a signature moment from the movie where Peter Parker, in his homemade suit, hangs suspended in an iconic pose. The design emphasizes the film's grounded, teenage-centric take on the character, showcasing the slightly utilitarian and patchwork aesthetic of the suit rather than the high-tech Stark-designed iteration.

Funko’s design team sought to capture the kinetic energy of the film's web-swinging sequences, utilizing the upside-down orientation to differentiate it from the standard standing poses typical of the Marvel line. Upon release, the figure was well-received by collectors who appreciated the dynamic departure from the static character models, solidifying its place as a representative piece for the 2017 homecoming era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
