Thanos (Infinity War) (Metallic)

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Marvel line in 2018, this figure commemorates the release of the film Avengers: Infinity War. It depicts the titan Thanos, the central antagonist of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Infinity Saga, captured in a stylized, oversized-head aesthetic that defines the Pop! brand. The metallic finish was a specialty variant intended to add a premium, reflective quality to the character's armor, distinguishing it from the standard matte-finish release.

The design follows the traditional Funko construction, utilizing a wide-eyed, minimalist vinyl mold that translates complex film character designs into a simplified, uniform format. As with much of the Marvel line, this piece was intended for collectors of superhero memorabilia, with the metallic edition serving as a pursuit item for those seeking aesthetic variety. It arrived during a peak period of popularity for Marvel merchandise, generally receiving positive feedback from hobbyists for its distinctively shiny aesthetic and accurate representation of the film's source material.
