The Butcher

The Butcher figure, released as number 1010 in the Pop! Games series, was created to commemorate the return of one of the most iconic antagonists in the Diablo franchise. Following the highly anticipated launch of Diablo IV, Funko produced this stylized representation of the demon to capture his brutal aesthetic, characterized by his signature meat cleaver and blood-stained apron. The design focuses on the character's imposing, oversized silhouette, reflecting the terrifying encounters players face when he randomly appears in the game's dungeons.

The figure was developed by Funko’s design team to bridge the gap between the dark, visceral tone of Blizzard Entertainment’s gothic horror world and the approachable, simplified vinyl aesthetic that defines the Pop! line. By stripping away some of the complex textures of the in-game model while retaining key identifying features like the iconic horns and butcher-shop attire, the designers aimed to provide a recognizable collectible for fans. Since its release, it has been received as a faithful homage to the legacy of the character, who has remained a staple of the series since the original 1996 title.
