The Flash (DC Universe)

The Flash Pop! figure, numbered 10 within the original DC Heroes series, was released by Funko during the early expansion of its vinyl line. Emerging from the brand's pivot toward licensing iconic pop culture franchises, this figure aimed to capture the essence of the Scarlet Speedster through the distinctive, minimalist aesthetic that became the Funko signature. It served as a foundational piece for what would eventually grow into a massive, multi-faceted collection of DC characters.

The design draws directly from the classic Silver Age inspiration of Barry Allen, utilizing the trademark vibrant red suit and yellow lightning accents that define the character's visual identity. While it lacks the intricate details found in later, more modern iterations of the line, the simplicity of this sculpt was intentional, adhering to the early house style that prioritized clean, bold shapes and the characteristic oversized, button-like eyes that have since become a global cultural phenomenon.
