Where it came from
The Giant Pop! figure was released as part of the Funko Pop! Television line to coincide with the 2017 revival of the cult classic mystery series Twin Peaks. The character, a mysterious entity appearing to FBI Agent Dale Cooper, serves as a pivotal guide in the surreal, dream-like landscape of the show's mythology. This figure captures the character's signature tuxedo and stark, otherworldly presence, reflecting his role as a supernatural messenger.
Funko’s design team leaned into the minimalist aesthetic characteristic of their vinyl figures to represent the character's imposing frame. By focusing on his classic formal attire and stoic expression, the designers aimed to evoke the unsettling, cryptic atmosphere that defined the show's aesthetic since its debut in 1990. The figure was well-received by fans who valued the faithful representation of the show's more eccentric, non-human cast members.
