The Joker (Suicide Squad) (Grenade Damage)

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Heroes line in 2016, this figure commemorates the aesthetic of the character as portrayed by Jared Leto in the film Suicide Squad. The design was produced to coincide with the movie’s theatrical debut, capturing a specific look featuring the character’s distinct metallic grill, body tattoos, and a tactical vest rigged with grenades. It reflects the stylistic shift the DC Extended Universe undertook at the time, moving toward a grittier and more stylized interpretation of iconic comic book villains.

Funko’s design team created this piece as a variant within the broader Suicide Squad collection to offer fans a more action-oriented depiction of the character. The figure follows the brand's signature simplified, oversized-head aesthetic while incorporating the specific details unique to the film's costume design. Upon its release, it was well-received by collectors who sought to complete their sets of the film's cast, serving as a prominent representation of the Joker’s unconventional appearance in this particular iteration of the franchise.
