Where it came from
The Tigger (Bouncing) flocked Pop! figure was released as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive in 2017, representing a highly specific variant within the broader Pop! Disney line. It was designed to celebrate the classic Winnie the Pooh character with a tactile, fuzzy 'flocked' texture intended to mimic the feel of a plush toy, catering to the growing collector demand for convention-exclusive variants that offer a sensory difference from the standard vinyl finish.
The design team at Funko focused on capturing Tigger’s iconic, high-energy bouncing pose, which distinguishes this mold from more static iterations of the character. As part of the extensive Winnie the Pooh collection, this figure was received with significant enthusiasm by collectors at the time of its release, quickly becoming a staple item for fans of the franchise seeking to acquire specialized pieces of Disney merchandise.
