Twilight Sparkle Sea Pony (Metallic)

The Twilight Sparkle Sea Pony Funko Pop was released as part of the 2017 merchandise tie-in for My Little Pony: The Movie. This specific metallic variant was designed to celebrate the character's aquatic transformation, a central plot element in the film where the protagonists navigate the undersea kingdom of Seaquestria. Funko produced this figure to capture the shimmering, iridescent aesthetic of the characters in their seapony forms, utilizing a glossy paint finish to differentiate it from the standard matte vinyl releases.

The design process for the My Little Pony Pop series focused on translating the stylized, expressive features of the animation into Funko's signature oversized-head format. Collectors generally received the line as a faithful interpretation of the 2017 film's art style, appreciating the attention to detail on the fins and mane. While part of the broader franchise history of My Little Pony, this figure is recognized for its niche appeal to fans of both the toy line and the cinematic iteration of the characters.
