White Lantern: Batman

The White Lantern Batman Pop figure was released as part of the Pop! Heroes line, specifically surfacing during the 2015 convention circuit as a limited edition exclusive. It draws inspiration from the Brightest Day story arc in DC Comics, where a select group of heroes and villains were resurrected by the White Light of Creation to combat the Black Lantern Corps. The design aesthetic reflects the character's transition from the grim sensibilities of Gotham to the ethereal, glowing white uniform of the Life Entity's champions, maintaining the standard Funko stylized proportions while incorporating the distinct pearlescent finish characteristic of the White Lantern aesthetic.

The item was produced to satisfy the high demand for variants within the DC Super Heroes collection, appealing specifically to collectors who prioritize chase figures and convention exclusives. Like much of the broader Funko vinyl series, the figure was designed by Funko’s in-house creative team to prioritize immediate character recognition through simplified geometry. Upon its release, it was received as a sought-after entry for completists of the Heroes line, serving as a notable departure from the darker, traditional color palettes typically associated with the Batman character.
