Worf

The Worf Pop! Digital figure, numbered 271, was released as part of the Star Trek: The Next Generation Funko Digital Pop! series. These collectibles were designed to merge traditional vinyl figure aesthetics with the emerging market for digital assets, where physical figures are linked to Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) released through the Droppp platform. The design captures the iconic Klingon security chief with his characteristic forehead ridges and Starfleet uniform, adhering to the standard, simplified Funko style that emphasizes bold, recognizable features.

This series was developed to engage the dedicated Star Trek fanbase through a gamified distribution model. By offering high-rarity digital tokens that could be redeemed for limited-edition physical figures like this Worf, Funko aimed to modernize the collecting experience for long-time enthusiasts of the franchise. While the digital-first approach marked a departure from retail-shelf traditions, the figure itself remains a faithful, stylized representation of one of Gene Roddenberry's most enduring characters, designed to sit alongside other figures in the broader Pop! Television line.
