Zim & Gir

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Television line, this figure captures the central duo from the cult-classic animated series Invader Zim. Created by Jhonen Vasquez and first aired on Nickelodeon in 2001, the show gained a fervent following for its dark humor and distinct visual style. Funko introduced this figure to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Irken invader and his malfunctioning robot companion, aiming to capture the series' anarchic, geometric character design in the signature stylized aesthetic of the Pop! brand.

The design of this piece emphasizes the contrast between Zim’s overconfident, rigid posture and Gir’s unpredictable, joyful chaos. By featuring the duo together in a single unit, the figure serves as a nod to their codependent dynamic, which was a core pillar of the show’s comedic timing. Upon its release, it was warmly received by long-term fans who appreciated the attention to the characters' expressive, oversized eyes and specific color palettes, solidifying its place as a staple collectible for devotees of 2000s animation.
