Where it came from
The Animals Christmas Party Set, released under the LEGO Friends theme, emerged as part of the line's seasonal offerings designed to capture the festive spirit through the lens of Heartlake City’s charming animal inhabitants. LEGO developed this sub-theme to provide a more approachable, pocket-sized entry point into the brand, focusing on playability and giftability during the holiday season.
The design of the set focuses on whimsical, anthropomorphic storytelling, featuring small buildable scenes that encourage creative role-play for a younger audience. It was received as a delightful stocking stuffer, noted for its inclusion of specific animal figures and seasonal accessories that integrated well with the larger, more complex Friends building sets released throughout the year.
