Where it came from
The Balloon Cart, set 40108, was released in 2014 as a limited-edition promotional item. It was primarily distributed through official brand retail channels as a seasonal gift with purchase, intended to complement the larger Modular Buildings line by providing a small, charming street-level detail to enhance the urban layout of a brick-built city.
The set was designed to capture the classic aesthetic of a street vendor's cart, utilizing a vibrant color palette to represent a collection of floating balloons. Its design reflects the focus of the Creator theme on versatility and imaginative building, offering a compact yet detailed construction that highlights how simple elements can effectively represent real-world objects in a miniature scale.
