Where it came from
The LEGO Batman Lunch Set (5005207-1) was released as a promotional item in 2017, aligning with the theatrical debut of The LEGO Batman Movie. It was designed as a practical, branded accessory for young fans, reflecting the film's playful interpretation of the DC Comics character and the broader synergy between LEGO’s licensed properties and their lifestyle merchandise line.
The set consists of a plastic lunchbox and a matching drinking bottle, both decorated with graphics of the caped crusader in his distinct cinematic LEGO form. While the set is a straightforward piece of functional consumer merchandise rather than a complex building set, it was received as a popular collectible among LEGO enthusiasts and franchise completists, serving as a nostalgic memento of the period when The LEGO Batman Movie dominated the brand’s marketing efforts.
