Batman Magnet

The 850664-1 Batman Magnet was released by the LEGO Group in 2011 as part of a series of promotional character magnets. These items were designed to offer fans a portable and decorative way to display popular minifigures, often featuring the figure permanently attached to a specialized base plate integrated with a magnet. This particular design utilized the classic Batman aesthetic featured in the DC Super Heroes line, highlighting the iconic cowl and utility belt details that have come to define the modern LEGO iteration of the character.

During this era, LEGO sought to expand its reach beyond traditional building sets by offering small, character-focused accessories. The design approach focused on modularity and clear branding, ensuring the character was instantly recognizable even at a miniature scale. While these magnets were initially received as functional additions to the DC collection, they have since transitioned into niche collector items due to the specific assembly of the minifigure components, which differed slightly from those found in standard playsets.
