Where it came from
The LEGO DUPLO Birthday Parade set 10597 was introduced in 2015 as part of the broader DUPLO line, which is specifically engineered for children between the ages of two and five. The set was designed to serve as a functional celebratory tool, featuring numbered bricks from one to five to help toddlers learn early counting skills while engaging in imaginative play centered around a birthday theme.
The design emphasizes the characteristic chunky, rounded aesthetic of the DUPLO system, utilizing large, easy-to-grasp bricks that prioritize safety and tactile feedback for younger builders. The set includes a buildable train, a dog figure, and various decorated bricks to facilitate narrative play. It was received as a practical addition to the DUPLO educational lineup, focusing on developmental milestones like number recognition and spatial coordination.
