Blocks magazine issue 15

Blocks magazine was established as an independent publication dedicated to the Lego hobby, emerging during a period of increased adult interest in the brand. Issue 15, released in early 2016, serves as a representative example of the magazine's editorial focus on showcasing complex builds, providing news on official product releases, and offering insights from within the fan community. Like other issues from this era, it was designed to appeal to both lifelong enthusiasts and those returning to the hobby, featuring a clean, photography-heavy layout that prioritizes visual clarity to highlight the intricacies of the featured sets.

The publication was developed by a team of enthusiasts who sought to fill a gap in the market for a high-quality print periodical that felt distinct from official brand marketing. The design language of the magazine was purposefully crafted to reflect a sophisticated aesthetic, utilizing professional print standards to elevate the perception of the medium. Upon its release, issue 15 was received as a reliable resource for collectors seeking deeper technical analysis and behind-the-scenes content, effectively cementing the magazine's role as a staple within the wider Lego enthusiast ecosystem.
