Where it came from
Blocks magazine issue 90 was released in early 2022 as part of an independent monthly publication dedicated to the Lego hobby. The magazine was established to provide an alternative to official company communications, focusing on in-depth reviews, builder spotlights, and historical retrospectives that cater to the adult fan of Lego community. This specific issue maintains the publication's signature editorial style, which prioritizes high-quality photography and long-form journalism over standard marketing copy.
The design of issue 90 reflects the magazine's ongoing efforts to balance technical analysis with community engagement. The layout utilizes a clean, image-heavy aesthetic intended to highlight the intricate details of the models featured within its pages. The editorial team sought to position the publication as an essential reference guide for collectors, and the issue was received by the community as a consistent resource for independent perspectives on new releases and building techniques.
