Where it came from
Released in 2012 as part of the LEGO Ninjago theme, this small polybag set features the Ninja Car, a compact vehicle designed for the character Cole. It was introduced during a period when the Ninjago line was rapidly expanding its narrative reach, utilizing a simple build to provide fans with an accessible entry point to the series' iconic fleet of vehicles.
The set was designed to capture the utilitarian and rugged aesthetic associated with the Earth Ninja, utilizing a straightforward color palette of black and earth tones. While the build is modest in complexity, it was well-received by collectors of the era for its efficiency in translating the show's stylized vehicular designs into a portable, pocket-sized format.
