Character Pack Series 1 - Complete

The LEGO Super Mario Character Pack Series 1, released in 2020, served as the inaugural blind-bag collection for the interactive Super Mario theme. This series was designed to complement the modular Starter Course, introducing ten iconic enemies including Paragoomba, Fuzzy, Spiny, Buzzy Beetle, Bullet Bill, Bob-omb, Eep Cheep, Blooper, Urchin, and Peepa. The figures were engineered with specific scannable tiles that trigger unique sound effects and reactions when interacted with by the digital Mario figure, bridging the gap between traditional construction sets and video game mechanics.

The design team at LEGO prioritized capturing the distinct aesthetic of the Nintendo source material while adapting these characters into a brick-built format.
