Where it came from
The Lego City 66637-1 2-in-1 Super Pack was released as part of the broader City theme, which serves as the modern evolution of the classic Lego Town series. Designed to offer consumers greater value by bundling multiple standalone sets into a single retail package, this specific pack combines the 60239 Police Patrol Car and the 60241 Police Dog Unit. These sets reflect the core design philosophy of Lego City: creating accessible, realistic emergency service vehicles that prioritize playability and modular integration with larger urban layouts.
The design of these individual sets emphasizes the iconic blue-and-white aesthetic of the City police force, featuring streamlined chassis builds that became standard in the late 2010s. By housing two distinct small-scale sets within one box, the manufacturer aimed to provide a comprehensive starter experience for new builders. The pack was received as a practical retail solution for gift-giving and collection building, maintaining the consistent design language and character-driven play style that has defined the City theme since its relaunch in 2005.
