Where it came from
The LEGO City 66636-1 2-in-1 Super Pack was released in 2021 as a value-oriented retail bundle within the City theme. These multi-pack sets are traditionally created to provide consumers with a higher perceived value by combining two distinct existing retail boxes into a single promotional package, often appearing in big-box stores during holiday seasons.
The design of this specific pack consists of set 60283 Holiday Camper Van and set 60287 Tractor. Both individual kits were designed by the LEGO City team to capture aspects of rural and recreational life, emphasizing modular play features like the opening roof of the camper and the working loader arm on the tractor. Upon release, the set was received as a standard utility offering, praised primarily for its accessibility and the straightforward, functional design language that defines the contemporary City line.
