Corporate Alliance Tank Droid

The LEGO Star Wars Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, set 75015, was released in 2013 as part of the theme's long-running expansion into the prequel era. Designed to depict the NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer featured in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, the set was produced during a period when LEGO was revisiting key vehicles from the Battle of Geonosis with updated aesthetics and modern building techniques. It was intended to provide a robust, play-focused model that mirrored the rugged, utilitarian design of the Separatist war machines seen on screen.

The design of the set focuses on the droid's distinct single-tread mobility and prominent missile weaponry, utilizing a mix of Technic and System elements to simulate the tank's unique movement. At the time of its release, the model was well-received by collectors for its inclusion of updated minifigures, notably the first appearance of the Phase II Clone Trooper in this specific uniform configuration and an improved Jango Fett figure. Its engineering highlights the balance between mechanical stability and the compact, aggressive silhouette characteristic of the Trade Federation and Corporate Alliance aesthetic.
