Where it came from
Crossing the River, released as set 2000445-1, belongs to a specialized series of educational building sets often commissioned for corporate training programs or specific institutional use. These sets were designed to facilitate team-building exercises, tasking participants with physical construction challenges that metaphorically represent collaborative problem-solving and navigation of complex constraints within a project environment.
The design of the set focuses on modularity and functional stability, prioritizing geometric components that allow for structural versatility. Because these sets were intended for internal organizational workshops rather than general retail, they are defined by their utilitarian aesthetic and minimalist packaging, reflecting a focus on pedagogical utility over traditional consumer branding or character-driven narratives.
