Where it came from
The Eiffel Tower Postcard and Sticker Set, cataloged under 5007716-1, was released as a curated collectible aimed at celebrating architectural iconography. It emerged from a period of expanded merchandise offerings designed to commemorate historical landmarks through tactile, stationery-based formats. The set was intended for collectors and tourists alike, providing a portable way to engage with the aesthetic of Parisian engineering.
The design emphasizes the distinct lattice structure of the Eiffel Tower, utilizing minimalist illustrations that highlight the ironwork's geometric complexity. The aesthetic approach centers on a blend of vintage-inspired graphic design and modern print techniques to ensure clarity in both the sticker decals and the postcard stock. While not a high-profile artistic commission, the set was received as a functional, well-regarded addition to souvenir collections, appreciated for its portability and structural accuracy.
